Please join us for the 53rd Annual Conference of the American Dance Therapy Association in Salt Lake City, Utah, October 11-14 2018! Salt Lake City is nestled at the foot of the scenic Wasatch Mountains. This is a city where, in her 2017 State of the City address, Mayor Jackie Biskupski said, “We all have a responsibility to foster hope, ensure equity, and create opportunity; to build a city for everyone”. Mayor Biskupski was the first openly gay elected official in Utah when she joined the Utah House of Representatives in 1998 and was then elected mayor taking office in January 2016.
Salt Lake City boasts that they are a city of exciting night life, notable history, and being an “incredible destination for patrons of the performing arts with: Ballet West, Utah Opera Company, Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, Repertory Dance Theatre…numberous theater groups and over twenty art galleries…” It is a great place to host our next ADTA conference for sure, and we cannot wait to see you there!
